Flavour of the Week: Asia de Cuba

This week, we run the rule over the newly renovated Asia de Cuba, a fusion-food mecca in the heart of Soho

What's the draw

One of the kings of London fusion food is newly refurbished: exec chef Luis Pous has refreshed the menu, and the already impressive room gets a makeover.

What to drink

We started off with a Maduros Old Fashioned, made with Ron Zacapa and Flor de Caña rum and bitters, and we enjoyed a 2013 A to Z pinot noir from Oregon with our steak.

What to eat

To start, tuna tartare tacos are essential, as is the 'Crispy Calamari', a crunchy salad made with fried squid and banana (trust us, it works) and red snapper ceviche. Blackened cod with orange mojo and flat-iron steak were standout mains.
