When it comes to food, we all know it's not just about flavour; look and texture's important, too. It becomes even more so when, instead of eating it, you're cutting it into perfect cubes, arranging it into geometrically perfect patterns and photographing it.

That's what Amsterdam-based artists Lernert & Sander have done with their piece Cubes, cutting 98 different foods into perfect 2.5" squares and ending up with something truly breathtaking. We'll never look at sushi in the same way again.
