For an all-out breakfast treat, head to steak specialists Smith & Wollensky, where meat is definitely the order of the day. But not just any old meat: this is USDA prime dry-aged meat. Hell. Yes. You'll find it in the steak section (obviously), where you can choose from sirloin, Kansas City cut bone-in sirloin, bone-in ribeye or a t-bone. If you don't fancy a steak, there's options aplenty – eggs benedict, florentine or with braised short rib; maple sausages and mixed-spice beans; the incrEDIBLE (geddit) black rye reuben sandwich; or smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. There are sweet dishes to try, too – the blueberry stack (tower, we'd say) is one of the most fabulously indulgent dishes we've had the pleasure of eating. Oh, and don't forget a bloody mary: there are nine different kinds to choose from here, from the 'It's Always Sunny...', with chargrilled peppers and green olives, to the 'Ohh mami! Umami!', inspired by the flavours of Japan, with smoky Nikka whisky, soy sauce and wasabi. That'll send your hangover packing.
