Chambers of Flavour
More secretive than the Freemasons; better acted than Hollyoaks – Gingerline is back with a bang. We've been sworn to secrecy about exactly what you'll find at its current incarnation, Chambers of Flavour v3.0, a steampunk-drenched, batshit-crazy supper club in a secret location (naturally). As with all Gingerline events, you'll be texted details of how to get there a couple of hours before you're due there, and this one promises a tour through unimaginable dining worlds on a whole new food-focused quest. Arrive with an open mind and an empty stomach.

Grub Club Presents: Nuclear Winter
STYX, 5 Ashley Rd, N17 9LJ
If your idea of fun is, er, imagining the end of the world, boy, have we found the event for you. Grub Club is turning STYX's basement into a military bunker-style Situation Room on the front line of the end of the world, which will largely be inspired by Stanley Kubrick's iconic Dr. Strangelove. Make your way through four zones before joining the leaders of the free world for a feast, served by different chef for each stint. First up were The Dinner Ladies; still left to go are Klose and Soan, and The Tailored Table.
Le Petit Chef
17B Kingsland Rd, E2 8AA
You want to travel along the Silk Road, but you don't exactly the time or the funds to travel 7,000+ miles from Marseilles to China; we get it. Enter Dinner Time Story's latest pop-up dining experience at Shoreditch's TT Liquor, which will use state-of-the-art 3D visual tech and flavours, sights and sounds to recreate the fabled trade route. You'll be served a six-course taste menu while birds, boats and fire-breathing dragons make their way around you, and genius props transport you from the icy Himalayas to the heat and humidity of an Arabian souk. We're not entirely sure how it'll work, but we can tell you we're very intrigued…
Murder in Mayfair at Hush
10 Feb, Hush Mayfair, 8 Lancashire Court, W1S 1EY
Not got Valentine's plans yet? We've found an event to die for: a sinister murder mystery in Mayfair. Attend Professor Dusty Relic's special viewing of the most expensive diamond ever discovered, The Maharajah, dressed in your finest, but prepare yourself – all is not what it seems. With appearances from evil Earnest Blowtorch, James Bond and Pussy Galore, you'll be greeted with a Crystal Head Vodka martini before embarking on an evening of mysterious, madcap antics, finishing up with a three-course meal. Trust no one… Not even your date.
Until 25 March. 8 Patriot Square, E2 9NF
The imposing facade of the Town Hall Hotel in Shoreditch is fantastical enough in its own right, but turn it into a set for an immersive experience, and you're onto a winner. The Grift is part game, part theatre experience where guests will be trained in the art of the con, testing their mettle with well-known scams like The Pig in the Poke and The Money Swap. The best bit? You get to have dinner in the hotel's well-known Corner Room restaurant, chowing down on everything from Vacherin fondue to slow-cooked venison shoulder.
