There are many great things about Tim Tams – not least the Tim Tam Slam. If you aren't lucky enough to know what that is already, it involves biting off each end of a tim tam and using it like a straw to drink a hot, milky drink, so that the biscuit itself melts and goes all gooey and delicious. Mmmmm. Maybe don't do that with this cocktail from new Australasian bar Dickie Fitz, though, in the interests of being all sophisticated and everything.

Ingredients

  • 50ml of 42 Below honey
  • 60ml of espresso
  • 25ml of Kahlua
  • 2 tbsp of sugar syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Tim tam or other chocolate biscuit of choice for garnish

Special equipment

  • Shaker
  • Fine strainer
  • Martini glass

Method

  1. Add all ingredients and ice cubes into a shaker.
  2. Shake well and fine strain into a frozen martini glass.
  3. Add garnish.
