Let's be honest here: when you're rushing down a supermarket aisle, trying to pick up a last-minute bottle of dinner-party wine, tasting notes can be confusing. Yes, you might want a sauvignon blanc, but do you want one with a hint of citrus fruit or a touch of nettle? Then there's always the question: what will go with the fish, but also keep your friend Steve happy?
Choosing the right wine for casual drinks can be tricky business – never mind when there's an occasion involved. Luckily, it doesn't have to be a mission every time, because One to Wine is here to change the game.
One to Wine is a London events and wine merchant that's simplifying things with its two step process. First it asks, "What quality of wine would you like?", and then "From where?". Using your answers the company then curates pairings according to your preferences. What's more, there are only 21 French and 11 Italian carefully chosen, sustainable and independent wines in its repertoire – which means you won't end up with an eclectic of random bottles from places you've never heard of.
Sounds great, right? We think so, too, which is why we're excited to partner with One to Wine to offer one lucky Foodism reader the chance to win a case of its Crémant de Loire Blanc de Blancs Millésimé 2011, an exclusive and rare sparkling wine from the Domaine Maison in Cheverny.
For your chance to win, simply answer the question below.
The question is: How many questions do One to Wine Ltd ask when helping to curate your wine?
