Ametsa might not be your first port of call for Japanese food and drink but that definitely changed during Japan Week. We learned all about sake’s best food pairings and enjoy an exclusively designed 7-course tasting menu at this top, top event. 

Held at Como The Halkin hotel in Belgravia in the much-loved Basque-inspired restaurant, Ametsa, guests enjoy the flavours and traditions of the Basque Country and were privy to chefs pairing traditional Spanish techniques with British seasonal ingredients and a unique Japanese fusion to create a selection of light tapas-style dishes and heartier sharing plates.
